Is It Too Much To Ask For Two More Hours??

I constantly find myself asking, WHERE DID MY DAY GO? Why am I always so busy? Why is that I need toothpicks to keep my eyes open after 8:30 p.m. {Pardon me, the Kiddo is fussing...}

...I just found my answer. I knew new mommy's lives were forever changed, but I cannot find time for everything! Guess what gets left in the dust?? Laundry. Dusting. Cleaning. Sleep.

So, would you like to know what is one of my biggest prayers? TWO MORE HOURS IN MY DAY. C'mon God. Can you make that happen?? You parted the sea, You healed the blind, can you provide me with two more hours??

Until God makes more time for me to complete life, this sweet monster is what takes up most of my time.

You know, if my time is going to be spent, at least it is being spent with something so friggin adorable. He makes me laugh, smile, cry, laugh some more.

Standing Tall

I went to daycare last week to get Noah. Mrs. Brenda said, "How come you didn't tell me he stands on his own??" BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW!!!! What in the world is she talking about...MY little boy is working crawling - NOT STANDING. Sure enough. Give him something to hold onto, he can stand tall. He can wiggle, dance and squirm.

Oh, and he can cough on command, AND as of recent, blow raspberries with his momma.

We are so Cruel...

Here is a video I had to share... Cullen and I find the simplest things with Noah to be so funny. Case and point: Noah was in the bath the other day, wanting to eat his Hermit Crab. Enjoy.

My Grown Up Little Boy

There is a little Fisher Price picnic table at Noah's daycare. Since I have gone to Mrs. Brenda's, there is always a child sitting at the table in attachable chairs, eating snacks. Noah, undoubtedly is laying on the floor, playing with toys while everyone else enjoys their snacks...let's face it, sitting at a table when you have no teeth and don't eat real food must be terrible awful.

WELL, yesterday, when I went to pick him up, he was sitting at the table, like a real baby boy. Just bangin away on the top of the table. I hardly recognized him - one because I wasn't expecting him to be at the table when I walked in, and two, because he looked so grown up!

I must admit, I got teary-eyed. Bittersweet. My baby is growing up. Sitting like a little boy, not like a baby. Eating (gnawing) on real food. So bittersweet.

...He'll be driving next week, it feels like.

Back to the Grind

I am currently sitting at my desk at work... wondering where the last two weeks went! Oh, I so much enjoyed being off of work, kinda looking forward to the routine of things again, but desperately wishing I was back home with my little Bug.

I told several people over the break, when The Bug was little, I couldn't wait to start school. I was so excited to NOT be a stay at home mom. Don't get me wrong; I loved Noah and LOVED being with him all day, but at just weeks old, he didn't do anything. He just stared at me all day. There were days I couldn't shower, days I couldn't do anything.

Now that he is mobile, now that he coos, and giggles, now that he is a baby, not a blob, he is so hard to NOT be around. Leaving home this morning to come to work was harder on me than the first day of school.
I want to reconsider being a stay-at-home mom... DON'T WORRY. We sealed our fate of me being a stay at home mom the day we closed on our house! Bye Bye stay-at-home mom option!

I hope everyone has a marvelous Monday. I know I will.
