Is This What Causes "Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease"?

Recently, Noah has found that his feet and hands are his new favorite toys.... and why not? They are always with him. Toys that never go away, what a concept.

However, last night, he learned that his foot can go into his mouth. You would think it was Christmas morning. Who needs expensive toys when you have feet!?

I know that Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease is real. I know it is not caused by inserting your hand or foot into your mouth...but he sure could make a cute poster baby for the disease.

This Little Piggy Went Wee Wee Wee Alllll The Way Home

Last night, on the way home from Cullen's birthday dinner in Georgetown, Noah entertained me for MOST of the ride home. He has recently started to squeal. It is one of my MOST favorite new things he does!!

Isn't he just the sweetest!??!

**Sorry the video is sideways. I didn't realize it wouldn't rotate for me.

I am getting SO BIG.

This week has been a very big week in the life of Noah Mills. He has learned to completely turn over. Back to front was an EASY task well over a month ago. This week, he learned to go from front to back! SO BIG.

Now, he has found his bottle. He wants to be an even bigger boy and help you hold it. HOW CUTE IS THIS:

Happy Birthday Cullen Mills

Happy Birthday to my dear sweet husband. He turns 27 today! Careful, Mr. Mills... 30 is creeping up pretty quick.

I love you, and I hope today is the best 27th birthday you will ever have!!

Happy birthday Daddy! I love you....

Go North Texas, Go North Texas. Go! Go!

If any of you watched the UNT game this weekend... it was ugly. Last weekend, it was no different. It was hot, miserably hot, in fact. The ONLY good side to the game is that we got to FINALLY meet little Tyler Beck! How cute is he??

Look at those sad little cheeks. They stayed a nice shade of BRIGHT RED the whole time we were outside tailgating, or at the game!
Brittany and I staged a photo opportunity, switched babies - and voila. what a cute picture. When we first arrived, a few people mentioned they thought Noah was bigger than Tyler... which is not good. He too, is a big baby, and 3 months older. Luckily, he was several pounds heavier!! :) I was a little nervous.
After half time, Brittany and I decided to leave and get the babies bathed and to bed. It was just too hot for them outside. After bath time, the little ones were able to play together for a little while! How cute are they?!!? Next football season is going to be so fun. They will both be walking and really interacting!!

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was Cullen's and my 3 year anniversary! It was perfect. Cullen had flowers delivered to my school, made from flowers he knows I LOVE. The HUGE bouquet was made of roses, star gazers, hydrangeas, and Gerber daisies. BEAUTIFUL. While the lighting isn't perfect on this picture, aren't they just stunning!?!?!
For dinner, Cullen took me to a Japanese Steakhouse. It is where we went last year, for me to tell him THE BIG NEWS! AHHH, I CANNOT BELIEVE I have been pregnant or had the Little Bug in our life for a year already!

...And speaking of the Little Bug, what a face is this?? This was in the middle of sweet potatoes, trial #2. He didn't care for them the same as he did the first night... He sat in his highchair the whole time he ate yesterday, like a real little boy. Is it sad, I am already bittersweet about him being a big boy??

My Little Sweet Potato Pie

Noah had his 4 month check up today. He got two shots in the leg, and cried. He was weighed, (17 lbs, 0 ozs. - 91st percentile) and measured (26 inches - 97th percentile). Shots and doctors appointment leads to cuddle time with daddy. All of our questions to our pediatrician were answered. Most important, of course, when can we start solid foods?

These are two videos of Noah eating Sweet Potatoes. This may come as a shock to you, as it did me (given that Noah is sooo underweight.....) EATING CAME NATURALLY TO THE LITTLE BUG. He ate like a little champion tonight!! I love him so much, and I am already looking forward to meal time tomorrow!!

**A little side note, Cullen and I do not make it a habit to hold Noah in a reclining position to eat, like he is a King. It just so happened that he would HAVE A SERIOUS MELTDOWN if we put him in his chair!!

UNT Here We Come!!

THE weekend is finally here. This IS the weekend we have been waiting on since last football season. Last year, Cullen and I went to a UNT Football game in September. I knew I was pregnant. It was our little secret!! The next time we went to the UNT Football game, for homecoming, we blabbed and told our friends Rusty and Brittany (who were also expecting!!) We were talking about exciting THIS season was going to be - all of us having little babies!! As it turned out, we both had little boys...and, so did so many other of our friends who played football with Cullen and Rusty.

I am so excited that THIS weekend is here. We are ready to meet baby Tyler. We are ready to show off our little Noah!!

...I can already feel it. I can already see the Denton city lights. My little piece of Heaven. I will see you soon, Denton, Texas. It has been far too long!

Best Friends

How sweet are these two?? It is quickly becoming one of my MOST favorite past times, watching these two play!

Guess who found their feet??

Noah did!

Who Needs Fortune Cookies When You Have Chocolate?

The counselor at my school has a huge bowl of Dove Chocolate. I usually can avoid his bowl of chocolate...not today.

Inside this wonderful piece of chocolate was a message; a message that read, "Elastic waistbands were created for holidays."

Was that Dove's little way of saying "have another piece of chocolate"?
